          Radiation Pattern: Non-Directional.                      
          This antenna went into service on March 28, 2023 and replaced a Procomm-12' BASE STATION ANTENNA.                      
Local coverage has increased from approximately 15 miles to 30 miles plus listening via a mobile radio. Your chances of hearing this beacon should be much better now.

          Radiation Pattern: Non-Directional.                      
          This antenna went into service on April 1, 2022 and replaced a temporary 102" stainless steel whip antenna. This Procomm-12' BASE STATION ANTENNA was taken out of service on March 28, 2023. The performance of this antenna is less than great. Local coverage was barely 15 miles listening via mobile. The ground plane kit did not help.                      
After running this antenna for nearly one year, I can not recommend this antenna. Performance for even a shorten antenna was poor and tuning the antenna was a pain. I've never had an antenna that tuned so poorly and was so difficult to achieve.
